Bob World Adventure 3D is a 2D platform game openly inspired by the most popular platformers not only visually, with an almost identical protagonist, but also in terms of gameplay, level design, and even enemy design.
The level design in Bob World Adventure 3D is very reminiscent of the Nintendo game featuring the famous plumber, with some parts copied wholesale and entire levels that feel really familiar. The same thing is true of the enemies, although the creatures are switched, which is to say: in this game, the enemies are the power-up mushrooms from the original title.
You'll also find equivalents of the pipes, the plants that come out of the pipes, the bricks you can jump on, and the little stars you collect for extra points. In addition, at the end of the level, you can jump over a flagpole to multiply your points.
Bob World Adventure 3D is pretty extensive, with several different worlds and more than 50 different levels. Some of the levels, especially the early ones, are too easy, while the more advanced levels are almost too hard. That said, the controls are pretty precise.
